Just days before Samsung's official unveiling, detailed leaks have surfaced online revealing what appears to be the full specifications and design of the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 8. According to images and technical details shared by WinFuture and highlighted by 9to5Google, the next-generation foldable bears a striking resemblance to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
A Familiar Design With Subtle Changes
From the outside, distinguishing the Z Flip 8 from the Z Flip 7 may prove challenging for most consumers. The overall design language appears to carry over unchanged, and even Samsung's own promotional teaser embedded in the Spider-Man: Brand New Day film clip featured a flip phone virtually indistinguishable from the current model — consistent with the images published by WinFuture.
While the structural design remains largely the same, Samsung is reportedly introducing a new pale pink color variant. This will join the returning "cream" white and "graphite" black options, giving buyers a modest refresh in terms of aesthetics.
Display and Memory Carry Over
The leak indicates that Samsung is not altering the display configuration for this iteration. The internal screen remains a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel, while the external cover display continues to measure 4.1 inches with Super AMOLED technology. Both match the specifications found on the Z Flip 7.
Similarly, the base memory configuration appears unchanged. The Z Flip 8 is expected to ship with 256GB of internal storage paired with 12GB of RAM — identical figures to those of the outgoing model.
Exynos 2600 and Faster Charging Lead the Upgrades
The most significant internal change centers on the processor. Contrary to what some Samsung enthusiasts may have anticipated, the Z Flip 8 will not feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. Instead, it will reportedly run on Samsung's own Exynos 2600, the direct successor to the Exynos 2500 found in the Z Flip 7.
