Sourcing
Our coverage is based on reporting from established international news organisations (such as BBC, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, France 24, NPR, TechCrunch and others) and official primary sources. Every article links to the original source it is based on. We do not publish rumours or unsourced claims.
Use of AI — and human review
The Globe Dispatch uses artificial intelligence to help draft and summarise stories from source reporting. No article is published automatically. A human editor reviews every story — checking it against the original source, editing where needed and deciding whether it is published. AI is a writing tool; editorial responsibility is human.
Accuracy and corrections
We aim for accuracy in everything we publish. When we get something wrong, we correct the article promptly. If you spot an error, please tell us via our contact page — corrections are reviewed by an editor and applied to the article directly.
Images and video
Cover photographs are licensed stock imagery used for illustration. Where articles include video, we embed official publisher content (e.g. YouTube) rather than re-hosting it. We do not use unlicensed copyrighted media.
Advertising
Advertising is clearly separated from editorial content and never influences coverage. Sponsored content, if ever published, would be explicitly labelled.
