Zosia Mamet Joins HBO's 'Industry' for Its Final Season as a Wellness Tech CEO

Zosia Mamet is heading back to HBO. The actress, best known to audiences for her breakout role in the network's comedy series "Girls," has been cast in the upcoming fifth and final season of the British finance drama "Industry."
Mamet will portray Carmen Dame, a character described as a fitness influencer who transitioned into becoming a wellness technology founder and chief executive officer. The role marks her latest collaboration with HBO, where she has built a substantial portion of her television career.
A Star-Studded Ensemble for the Final Chapter
Season 5 was previously confirmed to be the conclusion of the series. Mamet joins an expansive returning cast that features Myha'la, Marisa Abela, Kit Harington, Ken Leung, Max Minghella, Miriam Petche, Sagar Radia, Toheeb Jimoh, Charlie Heaton, Amy James-Kelly, Roger Barclay, Andrew Havill, Kiernan Shipka, Kal Penn, Jack Farthing, Stephen Campbell Moore, Claire Forlani, and Edward Holcroft.
The final season will span eight episodes, with cameras set to roll during the first week of August in the United Kingdom.

Mamet's history with HBO runs deep. She played Shoshanna Shapiro across the run of "Girls," a role that earned her widespread recognition. She later starred opposite Kaley Cuoco in the critically praised HBO Max series "The Flight Attendant," which ran for two seasons.
Beyond her HBO work, her television credits include appearances in "United States of Tara," "Parenthood," "Mad Men," and "Tales of the City." On the film side, she has appeared in features such as "Under the Silver Lake," "Alone Together," and "Madame Web."
