The week launched with "K-Pop Shark Heroes," a program featuring comedian Ken Jeong and singer Rei Ami as they work to challenge common misconceptions about sharks across East Asia.
Other notable titles in the schedule include "Air Jaws: Red, White and Breach," which examines great white sharks breaching along the United States coastline, and "Invasion of the Mega Sharks," which follows researchers searching for a potentially record-breaking great white off the coast of Nova Scotia.
Midweek offerings bring "Jurassic Sharks," combining CGI with real-world expeditions to study prehistoric species, alongside "Jaws vs Orca," which explores mounting evidence that killer whales are actively hunting great whites. "How to Train a Great White" tests whether sharks can learn and respond to cues, while "Ultimate Shark Dive" follows high diver Molly Carlson as she attempts a helicopter jump into a narrow shark cage.
The event wraps on August 1 with two final programs. "Great White Highway" looks at the growing number of great whites traveling along the East Coast, and "Thresher Shark: Stun to Kill" examines how thresher sharks use their powerful tails to incapacitate prey.
